Tomorrow evening we will be getting VERY in-depth into Active Directory information. Please discuss what sites are? Why are they used? What are the FSMO roles? Which servers get the FSMO roles. And lastly, what is a global catalog server? Please discuss what you have learned from your 6th build lab. I would like you to discuss exactly what we did. Also please discuss on why we designed and implemented the lab the way we did!! Really want you to think of a corporate environment scenario. How has this build given you insight on designing access to resources!?

We will be talking specifically about MSFT’s RIS, WDS (Windows Deployment Server), Sysprep used in conjunction with Ghost. This week we will be talking about the Remote Access (VPN) features supported by ISA. Please read the following link which discusses ISA 2006 Remote Access Features http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc137756.aspx. (Identical to ISA 2004 w/ a few new features). Please discuss also the benefits of having Network objects for the VPN Clients.

We recently learned about some of the fascinating Mobile features that are supported in Windows Vista. Please see the following link http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/ . This is a great resource that has a wealth of information and many up and rising technologies.
Please list and discuss at least 4 of the new Mobile Features that are new in Vista and the advantages of those technologies. Remember, this is a highly testable topic on the Vista exam!!

I would like for you to contemplate if you had to build and design a network from the ground up and were deciding on security options with ISA, which Network template would you use; and why? There are many different opinions and correct options here, but really want you to elaborate on design and functionality.

Remote Desktop and Terminal Services are phenomenal tools that allow us to perform remote administration and also aid with troubleshooting.
